Day 1: Arrival Hanoi (D)
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, welcomed by our guide and transfer to hotel for free at leisure. Welcome dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – Cooking class (B.L)
Breakfast at hotel. Today you enjoy a cooking class at a local family in Hanoi. You will go to the market with the chef and buy necessary ingredients. You will learn about the art of traditional Vietnamese cuisine. After a half-day morning session, you will enjoy a delicious dishes that you cooked. This afternoon, we will visit the very impressive Museum of Ethnology, among the finest of Vietnam's museums. You will see many exhibits, photographs and actual houses inhabited by some of the 54 ethnic people in Vietnam. It will offer a truly colorful introduction to these ethnic tribes. Then, visit Notre Dame Cathedral and enjoy 01 hour rickshaw trip around Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter, visit Ngoc Son pagoda. In the evening, you enjoy Water Puppet show. Dinner on your own and overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 3 : Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Van Long (B.L.D)
Breakfast at hotel. Depart to Ninh Binh, one of the most famous sites in Vietnam for its rich history and impressive limestone peaks which is known as Halong Bay on land. Visit two King temples of Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh dating from the 10th century. Then, take a sampan to discover the langune Van Long “Nature Reserve”, and enjoy karst rock and fishing activities. Lunch with locals in Van Long. In the afternoon, go cycling around Van Long and enjoy fabulous scenery. Back to homestay and learn Vietnamese cuisine. Dinner with dishes prepared by yourself and overnight at homestay.
Day 4: Hoa Lu – Hai Phong – Halong (B.L)
Breakfast at hotel. You will take a new road for Halong through vast rice fields of the Red River Delta. Arrival in Hai Phong, visit the flower market, fish market, Du Hang temple and Hang Kenh Communal House. Lunch at local restaurant. Depart to Halong through the fabulous scenery, arrive in Halong bay, check in hotel and free at leisure. Dinner on your own and overnight in Halong.
Day 5: Halong – But Thap – Hanoi (B.L)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Halong pier and check in for 05 hours cruise in Halong Bay on a beautiful wooden boat, visit the most beautiful and magnificent Halong Cave “Surprise Cave”. You can swim in a quiet and beautiful bay. Lunch on boat with excellent seafood menu. Back to the pier and return to Hanoi. On the way back, you will visit But Thap pagoda which is knowns as the cradle of Buddhism in Vietnam, and as the most beautiful and oldest pagoda in the region. Dinner on your own and overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 6: Hanoi – Discover – Hue (B.L)
After breakfast at hotel. Visit today Vietnam’s capital, including Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, traditional stilt house inside the Presidential Palace, the revered One Pillar Pagoda, Vietnam’s first university, the thousand year old Temple of Literature, Quan Thanh Temple and walk along the shore of West Lake to visit Tran Quoc Pagoda. Lunch at local restaurant. Transfer to Noi Bai airport for the flight to Hue. Arrive in Hue airport, welcomed by our guide and transfer to hotel. Free at leisure and overnight in Hue.
Day 7: Hue – Discover (B.L)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Tu duc Emperor’s tomb and Tu Hieu pagoda. Visit Hue Imperial including Tu Cam Thanh, Hoang Thanh… then, visit Dong Ba Market, the biggest market in the region. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, transfer to the pier for a nice cruise on Perfume river, the first impression is a green and peaceful on both side of the river. First stop at Thien Mu pagoda, the magnificent architecture was found in 17th century and then you will visit Minh Mang King’s tomb. Dinner on your own and overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Hue – Danang – Hoi An (B.L)
After breakfast at hotel, depart for Hoi An by the well-known and stunning Mandarin Road. Stop on the top of the Ocean Cloud Pass for a panoramic view over Danang and the surrounding areas, take some pictures at Lang Co beach. Visit the Cham Museum, then continue to Hoian that was recognized by UNESCO as being World Cultural Heritage in 1999. Hoian used to serve as an active port of trade with the Japanese, Dutch, Portuguese and Chinese people during the 17th and 18th centuries. Lunch at local restaurant. Walking in Hoi An through charming streets or swimming at Cua Dai beach. Dinner on your own and overnight in Hoian.
Day 9: Hoi An – Cooking class (B.L.D)
After breakfast at hotel. Visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Phuc Kien temple, the Phung Hung ancient house and Hoi An Central Market. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, you go to the market to buy necessary ingredients for cooking class. You will learn the Center culinary at local restaurant because the Center culinary is not the same as in the North. Dinner on your own and overnight in Hoi An.
Day 10 : Hoi An – Danang – Saigon (B.L)
Breakfast at hotel. Free walking in the small street of Hoian which is famous for its numerous tailor-made clothing shops. Transfer to Danang airport for the flight to Saigon. Arrive at Tan San Nhat airport, welcomed by our local guide and transfer to hotel. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the historical sites of the city : Central Post Office with Romanesque art and French-style, a former Presidential Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Cho Lon, Binh Tay Market, Thien Hau Pagoda and you will walk through the Catina Street for discovering the coloninal buildings. Dinner on your own and overnight at hotel in Saigon.
Day 11: Saigon – Cooking class – Cu Chi Tunnels – Saigon (B.L)
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for Cu Chi to visit the bonsai, herbs and vegetables garden. Then the chef will show you the menu of cooking class and explain the ingredients and how to make these dishes in the South. Then, you can make these dishes by yourself. Lunch with dishes prepared by yourself. Afternoon excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels, located 30 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City, this highly complex system of tunnels, 250 km long connecting the northern part of Ho Chi Minh City with Ho Chi Minh Trail, was dug day and night by locals and Viet Cong during the war against the French and then against the Americans. After you have explored the tunnel, you will be imbued with the living conditions of the Viet Cong. Back to Saigon in the late afternoon. Dinner on your own and overnight at hotel in Saigon.
Day 12: Saigon – Cai Be – Cooking class (B.L.D)
Breakfast at hotel. Depart to Cai Be, you will take a boat trip to discover the beautiful Cai Be floating market with local people being selling, buying, exchanging goods from their boats. Going to the local village to visit orchard, rice paper making, rice crispies producing process, etc…..and discover the daily activities of the local people. Lunch at local restaurant aboard the Tien river. In the afternoon, walking or cycling in the village, stroll through the orchards, tasting tropical fruits. End of the day, you can participate in a cooking class or carving fruits course and vegetables for dishes decor. Dinner and overnight in bungalow.
Day 13: Cai Be – Saigon – Departure (B.L)
Breakfast at the lodge. Early return to Cai Be floating market by speedboat where locals come to sell or buy various local products such as : watermelons, potatoes, squash, cabbage, coconut, durians…And then, you will visit a Vietnamese coconut popcorn hanmade and freshwater fish farms, and enjoy exotic fruits. Lunch with local. Return to Saigon and direct transfer to the aiport for departure flight. End of our services.
