Day 1: Hanoi arrival (D) Arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, welcomed by our guide and transfer to hotel for free at leisure. Welcome dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Hanoi.
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, you will explore the Vietnam cuisine, you go to the market with the chef to buy the necessary ingredients. Then, we come back to a local familly where the chef will teach you how to prepare and cook the Vietnamese traditional dishes. Lunch with dishes prepared by yourself. In the afternoon, you will visit the Temple of Literature “Vietnam first University” and the Ethnographic Museum (closed on every Monday). Then, you enjoy 01 hour rickshaw trip around Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter, visit Ngoc Son temple. In the evening, you enjoy the Water Puppet Show. Dinner on your own and overnight in Hanoi. Day 3: Hanoi – Ba Be – Cruise on Ba Be Lake(B,L,D) Breakfast at hotel. Depart to Ba Be via green hills of tea and beautiful palm fan. Arrival in Ba Be at noon, check in the traditional house on stilt for a welcome cup of tea and lunch together with the locals. In the afternoon, you will take a nice cruise in Ba Be lake which knowns as the most beautiful freshwater lake in Vietnam to discover the most beautiful and quite corners here. Continue the cruise on the Nang River through the beautiful grotto named Poung and visit Dau Dang waterfall, the most beautiful waterfall in this erea. Dinner with locals and overnight at traditional large house on pilotis.
Breakfast at homestay. You say goodbye to the family where we spent a friendly night and depart to Cao Bang through forests landscapes and ethnic villages. Arrival in Cao Bang at noon. Lunch at local restaurant. Then, depart to Quang Hoa through the ethnic villages and fabulous scenery. Many stops on the way for photos and visits such as : Phuc Sen village, forge traditional village. Arrival in Quang Hoa, check in the guesthouse, free walking to discovery the ethnic Tay, Nung, Dao lives. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Quang Hoa. Day 5: Quang Hoa – Ban Gioc waterfall – Nguom Ngao cave – Cao Bang (B.L.D) After breakfast, transfer to Ban Gioc Waterfall, that is the most beautiful and the biggest waterfall in Vietnam where you can walk or swim. Local lunch beside the waterfall. Return to Cao Bang, on the way back, we visit Nguom Ngao Caves, this enormous cave has two main entrances and one branch reaching almost all the way to the waterfalls where is a “secret” entrance. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at hotel in Cao Bang.
Breakfast at hotel. Depart to Bao Lac through beautiful sceneries : terraced rice fields, ethnic villages, mountains and forests. Several stops on the way for photos and visits. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, walk to discover the daily life of H’mongs and Tays villages around Bao Lac. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Bao Lac. Day 7; Bao Lac –Black Lo Lo – Meo Vac (B.L.D) After breakfast. Walk to Khuoi Khon village, home of Black Lo Lo to meet and discover their daily lives. You meet here friendly and smiling people with their colorful traditional clothes, Lunch at local restaurant. Depart to Meo Vac through the fabulous sceneries and arrival in Meo Vac, our guide will obtain permission at the police to visit this beautiful region border with China. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at hotel.
Breakfast at hotel. Depart to Ha Giang via Ma Phi Leng Mount at an altitude of over 2000 meteres. Visit the ancient city in Dong Van with mud houses dating over 400 years, the H’Mong King Palace, built in 1900, Vuong Chi Duc was recognized King of H’mong tribes by French colonialists and visit flower Lo Lo villages. Lunch at local restaurant. Then, visit the Gateway to Heaven, Fairy Mountains and fabulous sceneries… Arrival in Ha Giang, check in your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Ha Giang. Day 9: Ha Giang – Bac Ha - Trekking (B.L.D) Breafkfast at hotel. Depart to Bac Ha through the most beautiful and adventurous road North – East of Vietnam with different minority ethnic: Nung, Tay, Hmong… Stop on the way to take photos and to visit. Arrival in Bac Ha in the afternoon, check in hotel and you will take a nice walk in Ban Pho village, home of the Hmong to discover their culture, their daily lives and their ambic technique. Dinner at local restaurant et overnight at hotel in Bac Ha.
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Bac Ha colorful and typical market, this is the most beautiful and colorful market of the region which is not only a place for trade but also the place for young lovers. After lunch, you will take a private boat on Chay river and visit ethnic villages along this river. Then, depart to Sapa through a beautiful mountain road. Arrival in Sapa, check in hotel and discovery of this charming town. Dinner and overnight in Sapa. Day 11: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Hanoi (B.L.D) Breakfast at hotel. All day will be dedicated to a beautiful hiking in the most beautiful valley of Sapa through the terracedrice fields, schools, ethnic villages to visit Lao Chai and Ta Van villages where live the Hmong, Dao, Zays ethnic. Lunch at local restaurant. Then, you can go hiking further up to Giang Ta Chai village through ethnic villages, terraced rice fields et bamboo forests. You will meet today many smiling and hospitable minorities, it’s a linking to the horizon. Return to Sapa and transfer to Lao Cai for the night train to Hanoi. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight on board a cabin of 04 berths with AC.
Arrival in Hanoi at 05h30 am. Pick up and transfer to hotel for breakfast. Depart to Hoa Lu, one of the most famous sites in Vietnam for its rich history and its impressive limestone peaks which is known as Halong Bay on land. Visit two King temples of Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh dating from the 10th century. Then, you take a sampan to discover the langune Van Long “National Nature Reserve”, see karst rock and fishing activities. Lunch with locals in Van Long. In the afternoon, go cycling through the villages and through fabulous sceneries. Back to homestay and learn Vietnamese cuisine. Dinner with dishes prepared by yourself and overnight at homestay. Day 13: Hoa Lu – Cat Ba – Cruise in Biosphere Reserve (B.L) Breakfast at homestay. Depart to Hai Phong to take a high speed boat to Cat Ba island. Arrival in Cat Ba and check in hotel. Lunch at local restaurant. Then, you will take a amazing cruise with a private boat at Lan Ha Bay, one of the most beaufiful bays and recognized as “Biosphere Reserve” in Vietnam. From here, you will start kayaking to the Monkey Island, one of the most beaufitul and clean beaches in Cat Ba. Overnight at hotel in Cat Ba.
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Gia Luan harbor and take a private boat for a navigation from Cat Ba to Halong through fishermans floating villages, islands, rocks… You’re far away from mass tourism. 12h00 – 12h30: Embark on boat followed by a short cruise briefing. 13h00 – 15h30: Savor a delectable lunch as cruises among the limestone islands. 15h30 – 16h30: Kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, around the Bo Nau Cave area. Back to the boat 16h30 – 17h30: Cruising to Soi Sim island. Go swimming and relaxing at the beach of Soi Sim or climb up to the top of the island for a panorama view of Halong Bay. 17h30: Cruise back to the main boat for a shower. Relax or snap photos as the sun starts to set. 19h00: Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, fish for squid, or just laze around. Overnight on board
06h30 - 07h00: Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt. 07h30 - 08h30: Have breakfast at sunrise. 08h30 - 09h30: Explore the amazing Sung Sot Cave - the nicest cave in Halong Bay. 09h30: Return to the boat. Freshen up and check out. 09h30 - 10h30: Continue your cruise exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more. 10h30 – 11h30: While heading back to the habor, watch the cooking demonstration before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch. 12h00 – 12h30: Disembark and back to the pier. On the way back to Hanoi, you will visit Dong Trieu pottery village where you can see the stages in pottery making, ceramic making process… Transfer to the airport for the departure flight.
