Day 1 : Hue Heritage Discovery Tour
After breakfast, meet your guide and driver at the hotel and begin your exploration of Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Start the day with a relaxing boat cruise along the romantic Perfume River, one of Hue’s most iconic landmarks. Your first stop is Thien Mu Pagoda, the oldest and most famous pagoda in Hue, beautifully situated on a hill overlooking the river. This historic Buddhist site is renowned for its elegant seven-story Phuoc Duyen Tower and its peaceful atmosphere.
Continue to visit Khai Dinh Tomb, the most unique royal mausoleum of the Nguyen Dynasty. Combining traditional Vietnamese architecture with European influences, the tomb is admired for its elaborate decorations, intricate mosaics, and impressive hillside setting.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, where you will have the opportunity to savor some of Hue’s renowned culinary specialties.
In the afternoon, visit the magnificent Imperial Citadel, the former political and cultural center of the Nguyen Dynasty. Explore its grand gates, palaces, temples, and courtyards while learning about the fascinating history of Vietnam’s last royal family.
Next, proceed to Dong Ba Market, the largest and most vibrant market in Hue. Wander through its bustling aisles filled with local products, handicrafts, fresh produce, and traditional delicacies, offering an authentic glimpse into daily life in the city.
After the visit, transfer back to your hotel or the designated drop-off point.
