After breakfast, meet your guide and driver at your hotel before departing for an unforgettable journey through Vietnam's historic Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Your first stops are the iconic Hien Luong Bridge and the Ben Hai River, once marking the border between North and South Vietnam along the 17th Parallel. Continue to the remarkable Vinh Moc Tunnels, an extraordinary underground village where local residents lived and survived during years of intense bombing.

After lunch at a local restaurant in Dong Hoi, continue to the UNESCO-listed Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. Enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the picturesque Son River before exploring the spectacular Phong Nha Cave, renowned for its magnificent limestone formations, underground river, and impressive stalactites and stalagmites. In the late afternoon, transfer to your hotel in Dong Hoi. Dinner and overnight in Dong Hoi.

 

Day 02: Dong Hoi – Khe Sanh – Ho Chi Minh Trail – Quang Tri – Hue (B, L)

After breakfast, depart for another fascinating day exploring the historic battlefields of Central Vietnam. Travel along sections of the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail, the strategic supply route that played a crucial role during the Vietnam War. Visit the former Khe Sanh Combat Base, one of the war's most famous military sites, before stopping at The Rockpile, a former U.S. military observation post offering panoramic views over the surrounding mountains.

After lunch at a local restaurant, continue through Dong Ha Town and visit the historic Quang Tri Citadel, the site of one of the fiercest battles of the Vietnam War and a powerful symbol of the country's resilience. Arrive back in Hue in the late afternoon and transfer to your hotel. End of services.
