Sapa 3 days 2 nights trekking tour

Day 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai by overnight train (-)

At around 8:00 PM, our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi and transfer you to Hanoi Railway Station. Board the overnight train to Lao Cai and settle into your comfortable air-conditioned soft-sleeper cabin (4 berths). Relax as the train travels through the peaceful countryside towards the mountains of northern Vietnam. Overnight on board.

Day 2: Lao Cai – Sapa – Ban Khoang – Ta Giang Phin – Sapa (B.L)

Upon your early morning arrival at Lao Cai Railway Station, your guide and driver will warmly welcome you before transferring you to a hotel in Sapa. Enjoy breakfast, freshen up with a shower, and leave your luggage at the hotel while waiting for check-in (rooms are generally available from noon).

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive to Ban Khoang, a picturesque H'mong Blue village nestled among spectacular terraced rice fields. Embark on a rewarding trek through breathtaking mountain landscapes, crossing streams, rice terraces, and traditional villages while discovering the authentic daily life of the local ethnic communities.

Enjoy a homemade lunch with a welcoming local family before continuing your hike to Ta Giang Phin, home to the Red Dao people. Along the way, admire magnificent valleys, lush forests, and peaceful rural scenery while learning about the unique customs, traditional handicrafts, and cultural heritage of this fascinating ethnic group.

Return to Sapa in the late afternoon. The evening is at your leisure to explore the town, stroll through the lively streets, or enjoy dinner at one of Sapa's excellent local restaurants. Overnight at your hotel in Sapa.

Day 3: Sapa – Khau Chua – Hau Thao – Xa Xeng – Lao Cai – Hanoi (B.L)

After breakfast at the hotel, leave Sapa by private vehicle for Khau Chua, the starting point of another unforgettable trekking experience through some of the region's most spectacular landscapes.

Walk along quiet mountain trails winding through rolling hills, terraced rice fields, bamboo forests, ethnic villages, and local schools, offering countless opportunities to observe the authentic daily life of the indigenous communities. The route combines magnificent scenery with meaningful cultural encounters away from the usual tourist trails.

Lunch is served in a traditional local stilt-house restaurant before continuing your trek to the villages of Hau Thao and Xa Xeng. Surrounded by cascading rice terraces, waterfalls, bamboo groves, and panoramic mountain views, these peaceful villages provide an ideal setting to experience the rich culture of the Black H'mong people and appreciate the unspoiled beauty of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range.

In the late afternoon, return to Sapa before transferring to Lao Cai Railway Station to board the overnight train back to Hanoi. Settle into your air-conditioned 4-berth soft-sleeper cabin for a comfortable overnight journey. End of our services.
